Textile ERP software in Pakistan: what a mill or garment unit must track

Textile ERP software in Pakistan for mills and garment units: the records each stage needs, how to cost a metre or a piece, and how to choose a system that fits your floor.

Before you ask

Questions, answered plainly.

What is the most important thing a textile ERP should track?

Material by lot, from receipt to dispatch, with wastage recorded at each stage. Most textile margin problems are material that went missing between two stages, not prices.

Does an ERP handle job work sent to outside processors?

It should. Record what goes out for dyeing, printing or stitching on a gate pass, what comes back, and the difference, so the processor's wastage and your stock both reconcile.

Should we cost per metre, per kilogram or per piece?

In the unit you sell in. Weaving units usually cost per metre, knitting often per kilogram, and garment units per piece. Mixing units without a clear conversion is where costing goes wrong.

Does Batchbook work for textile factories?

Batchbook measures output in metres today, which suits units that sell fabric or other products by the metre. If you count in pieces or kilograms, talk to us first: other units are planned, not yet built.

Can floor staff see rates and amounts?

They should not need to. A good system shows production and dispatch staff quantities only, and keeps rates and amounts for finance and the owner.
