Treevoxa is a custom software development company for USA businesses that want a dependable engineering partner without the cost of building a local team. We design and build ERP and CRM systems, SaaS products, web and mobile applications and APIs, on contracts written in US dollars and scheduled around your working day. If you are comparing custom software development companies USA buyers usually shortlist, or searching for a software development company in the US, judge every option on live software and written terms.
We are not a US-based firm and we will not tell you we are. What we offer US companies is simpler: a team that has built and still runs its own software products, works in your tools and your hours, and puts the scope, the price and the ownership of the code in writing before anything starts.
Custom software development for US companies: what we build
- Business systems. ERP, CRM, HR and payroll, inventory and accounting software built around how your business actually runs. See ERP software development and CRM development.
- SaaS products. From the first version to billing, tenants and admin tools. See SaaS product development.
- Web applications. Customer portals, dashboards, booking and ordering systems. See web application development.
- Mobile apps. iOS and Android apps in React Native, sharing one code base. See mobile app development.
- APIs and integrations. REST APIs, payment gateways, accounting systems and hardware such as biometric terminals. See API development.
Proof you can click through
We do not ask you to trust a portfolio of screenshots. Treevoxa builds and runs its own products, and each one is live with a free trial:
- MatrixHR, HR and payroll: a NestJS API on PostgreSQL, a Next.js web app, an Expo mobile app and a small agent that brings in fingerprint-terminal punches.
- RE-ERP, real estate ERP: a Node.js API, a Next.js web app, a React Native mobile app, Stripe billing and AI features built on the OpenAI and Anthropic APIs.
- PharmaFlow, pharmacy POS: a React point of sale and admin, an Express API on PostgreSQL, and an online store on the same stock.
The same engineers who built these build client projects.
Tech stack for US company projects
We choose the stack the project needs. Most of what is below runs in our own products today:
| Layer | What we use |
|---|---|
| Front end | React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS |
| Back end | Node.js (NestJS, Express) and Python (FastAPI); Django for Python projects built on it |
| Mobile | React Native with Expo |
| Data | PostgreSQL, Prisma, Supabase |
| Integrations | Stripe, Amazon S3, email delivery, OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, biometric devices |
If you already have a stack, we work in it. See Python development, Node.js development and React development.
How a project runs
- Discovery call. Your goals, users, current tools and constraints.
- Written scope. What will be built, what will not, the milestones and the price.
- Build in short cycles. A working version to review every one or two weeks, on a staging site you can log in to.
- Testing and launch. We test against your real cases, migrate your data and deploy.
- Support. Hosting, maintenance and improvements, agreed in writing for after launch.
Engagement models for US companies
| Model | How it is priced | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed scope | One price per milestone, agreed before work starts | A system with a clear specification |
| Dedicated team | A monthly fee per developer, working only on your product | Ongoing product development |
| Hourly | Hours logged against agreed tasks | Small changes, audits and support |

What custom software costs for US companies
For comparison, the median US software developer earned $135,980 a year in May 2025, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, before benefits, equipment and recruiting costs. Clutch's October 2026 pricing guide puts most software development companies on its directory at $25 to $49 an hour, with US firms typically at $50 to $99. Our software developer hourly rates page compares regions in more detail, and our custom software development cost guide explains what drives a project's price.
We quote in writing, in US dollars, once the scope is clear. If one of our products already does most of what you need, buying it with its full source code can cost far less than building from scratch.
US privacy law and your data
The US has no single federal privacy law for most businesses. Instead, a growing number of states have their own consumer privacy laws, the best known being California's Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), enforced by the California Attorney General and the California Privacy Protection Agency. Sector laws such as HIPAA for health data add their own rules. For a software project that means:
- Your role and ours. You decide how customer data is used; we act as your service provider under a written contract that limits what we may do with it, which is what laws like the CCPA expect.
- Features the law requires. Requests to access, delete or correct personal data, opt-outs and retention rules are cheaper to build in from the start than to add later. We plan them with you during scoping.
- Minimal access. We build and test with anonymised or synthetic data wherever we can, so real customer data rarely leaves your environment.
This is not legal advice; which state laws apply depends on where your customers are and on thresholds in each law, so confirm with your counsel.
Custom software development services USA companies ask for most
What US companies most often bring us: replacing a patchwork of spreadsheets and subscriptions with one system, adding a customer portal to an existing back office, building the first version of a SaaS product, and adding developers to an in-house team. A top software development company in the USA would quote US rates for each; we quote in US dollars, in writing, with the overlap and ownership terms above.
Working across time zones with US companies
Remote work only works when the hours are agreed. Before a project starts we fix:
- a daily overlap window inside your business hours, usually your morning, for stand-ups, reviews and decisions;
- one named contact on our side, and one on yours;
- where the work is tracked, and how fast we answer outside the overlap window;
- a written weekly update, so nobody has to chase status.
Because we work while you are offline, a question you leave at the end of your day is often answered, or built, by the start of the next one.
